This set contains 8 spools of holographic thread, somtimes called jewel or spectra thread. Each spool contains 100 meters. There are 2 spools of gold, 2 spools of silver and 1 spool each of turquoise, pink, green and red. I have used a couple of different brands of holographic thread on my sewing and embroidery machines. These threads are more difficult to use than the average thread, but I have found Madeira threads much easier to use than others. These threads really add lots of shine and sparkle to your projects.
Combine with other threads by and your decorative stitching and embroidery will reflect light like precious gems.
The thread can be used for sewing machine or for hand stitching.
