4D Embroidery
helps you to adjust your embroideries on the
computer before you sew. Personalize your
embroideries in true 3D in a real hoop.
Rotate
your embroideries to any degree, mirror them
from side to side or end to end and scale or resize
your embroideries.
Adjust the colors to the
thread shades from your preferred manufacturer,
or even create your own threads, then combine
with lettering or shapes.
ColorSort to intelligently
re-sort the colour order of a design to reduce the
number of thread changes. Cut, copy or paste
embroideries to and from other 4D Embroidery
System modules.
Use 'Encore' for any embroidery, repeating it in a
circle, along a line or around the hoop. Use the
Endless function to make endless embroideries
for any hoop.
Add multi-line lettering with your choice of 21
line types. Use the QuickFont Wizard to create
new fonts for 4D Embroidery from any
TrueType® or OpenType® font on your
computer. Use special machine fonts to place
lines of motif stitches. Browse shapes by
thumbnail image directly on the Shape page of
the control panel. Adjust the satin and fill
patterns for many fonts and shapes.
Select a font, size and colour, reshape and stretch as
required, then adjust the fill texture!

Features
In 4D Embroidery Extra, use 2D editing to alter
individual stitches or whole blocks of stitches,
even insert new stitches. Manage colours in your
embroideries: move colours up or down, merge
colour blocks and insert colour changes. Also use
editing for precise adjustment of angle and size.
ExpressDesign Wizard
4D Embroidery Extra also includes the ExpressDesign Wizard. Use it to automatically
create embroideries from a picture, to either fit
the current hoop or fit an area you select. Choose
from three design types:
Express Embroidery
- Create a new embroidery by
converting color areas in a
picture to fill and satin areas,
using running stitch or satin
border outlines where
necessary.
Express Trace - Create a new embroidery by
tracing outlines in the
picture. Use light or heavy
running stitch to create redwork or blackwork style
embroidery, create quilt
stencils and so on. Use satin
border of constant width for
designs that demand broader outlines.
Express Border - Create a new embroidery by
creating borders around
shapes in a picture. The
border can be created as a
satin border, applique, an
outline of running, double
or triple stitch, or a border
of motifs.
Remove
Embroidery Overlap -
Using the any for the work area tools to combine lots individual elements into a
single embroidery, however overlapping parts of an embroidery is not a problem
for the 4D embroidery software, use the automatic remove overlap feature to prevent
stitch building up.
Realistic Colour Worksheet
- You may choose any
thread shade from the
available thread
manufacturers
palettes (for instance,
Sulky Rayon 40 or
Robison-Anton
Cotton 50 plus 25 others) or a thread
you have added to MyThreads.
Cut, Copy and Paste..! with an unlimited number of Undo's The Clipboard Block
shows the current block that can be pasted into your embroideries. It shows the
most recent block of stitches or embroidery that has been cut or copied from 4D
Embroidery or another 4D Embroidery System module.
ColorSort - While creating you've used the
same colour a few times as you have been detailing the embroidery design, hence
one colour would need to be stitched out many times during an embroidery.
Colours should have been used is a sequence while creating your design! well we
know this would be impossible...! Click automatic ColorSort, an animation will appear while the
colours are sorted, and then the colour worksheet will show how the number of
colour changes has been reduced for perfect stitch out.
